NEW CANAAN, Conn. – The Presidents Day holiday means several town closings in New Canaan on Monday.

New Canaan Town Hall and all Town Hall departments will be closed for the day. The closure also affects Vine Cottage, which houses the human services office. The town’s offices at Irwin Park, which houses the planning and zoning, inland wetlands and building departments, will also be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday morning.

New Canaan Library will also be closed Monday. New Canaan Public Schools, which are on winter break, will remain closed Monday. Classes will resume Tuesday.
