NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Students at Gray Farms Nursery School know a little more about love and how it gets delivered.

Gray Farms students took a field trip to the New Canaan Post Office to learn what happens to their valentines when they get dropped into a mailbox. Students, teachers and parents last Tuesday traveled on Metro-North Railroad from Stamford’s Springdale station to the New Canaan Post Office.

New Canaan Postmaster Nancy Cornelio showed the preschoolers the process a letter goes through from the time it comes into the post office to when it leaves.
